If theres one thing you really dont want to happen....
we dont like being alarmist, but cambelt failure is pretty serious stuff. If yours goes, it can mean the end of the road for your engine. And, if they are not changed at the recommended intervals, they do go. Over time and miles, the rubber detioriorates, its not just through wear, but rain, salt, heat, ice, grit, you name it....
eat away at the rubber and it can suddenly snap without any warning.
We recommend you replace your cambelt at least every four years and sooner if your mileage is higher.
